Baby Einstein

Educational toys that inspire curiosity

Baby Einstein creates educational toys that help children explore the world through curiosity, creativity and play. Each product combines music, art and science to spark imagination and support early learning and development.

Curious today. Extraordinary tomorrow

Baby Einstein is an American brand that helps little ones discover the world through curiosity, creativity and exploration. The brand was founded in 1996 by mother and former teacher Julie Aigner-Clark, who wanted to introduce young children to the beauty of music, language, art and poetry. Her first video, created at home in Georgia, featured puppets and classical music and went on to win the 1997 Parenting Magazine award for Best Video of the Year.

Today Baby Einstein continues to build on Aigner-Clark’s vision, inspiring learning through play and encouraging parents to see themselves as their baby’s first teachers. Each product combines science, art and music to create rich sensory experiences that spark imagination and support early development.

Baby Einstein™ Design Principles

  • Open-ended Experiences to invite imagination through free, child-led play. Rather than focusing on a “right” or “wrong” way to engage with a product, each Baby Einstein item is intentionally designed to engage curiosity.

  • Real-world Learning to contextualize concepts. Beloved Baby Einstein characters help introduce children to the world around them through interactive videos, developmentally appropriate toys and more.

  • Multi-sensorial Engagement to boost cognitive development. From high-contrast images to help with vision development to tactile items that help with fine motor skills, each Baby Einstein product is created with children’s development in mind.

  • Confidence Development to reinforce the joy of learning. Feeling a sense of mastery isn’t only a boost of confidence — it’s also a sign to babies and children that their curiosity is rewarded.

  • Creative Thinking Stimulation to strengthen mental agility. Baby Einstein helps children discover that experimentation and persistence are enjoyable.
